The Elder Scrolls Online developer video delves into the war between factions

A video for The Elder Scrolls Online has been released by Bethesda. In the MMO, the Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and Ebonheart Pact at war, but at one time the Alliances got along, seemingly. In the developer video below, Lawrence Schick discusses what let to the factions’ disagreement. TESO is expected to launch sometime this year.

Maybe I’m just not enough of a fantasy geek, but I always felt like The Elder Scrolls was weak as hell when it came to the lore.

I couldn’t be less interested in the pseudo-romans and the elven nazis, it always just served as a conveniently vague backdrop to the real meat of those games, in exploring the thousands of little stories across the countryside.

I’m sure the game will be alright, but I’m just pretty indifferent to the setting itself.

With elder scrolls already an RPG, did it really need to be an MMO on top of that? I never understood the need to make it an MMO.

need to see some god damn game play. I don’t care about the story or any of that shit. GAME PLAY. Shit … this is boring.
