Xbox to sponsor Women in Gaming Awards 2013

Microsoft has proudly announced its repeat, Xbox-branded sponsorship of the Women in Gaming Awards at GDC 2013. Nominations are now open for the fifth annual awards with four categories up for grabs. The awards help highlight the presence of women in an industry which can be all too faceless and thereby appear even more male-dominated than it is, putting aspiring developers off pursuing the craft. GDC 2013 runs March 25-29 in San Francisco.
