World of Tanks Update 8.3 goes live in Europe and Southeast Asia

Wargaming today announced that World of Tanks Update 8.3 is now live in Europe and Southeast Asia. The update includes 17 new tanks for the latest nation added to the game, China. The lower tiers of the new tech tree also feature various foreign designs, including the first Japanese-made tank in the game, the Type 97 Chi-Ha. A number of original Chinese tank models, "some of which never went into mass production," are also featured in the higher tech trees. North-American players will get the update on January 17, and testing of the new tech tree will start in Korea on January 21.
