Dust 514 open beta arrives on January 22nd

CCP Games has announced that Dust 514, its PS3-exclusive FPS, will go into open beta on January 22nd. Players will be able to download and enjoy the game for free from this date.

This announcement arrives shortly after CCP Games revealed Dust 514 is using Eve's Tranquility server.

"The launch of the Dust 514 Open Beta is another step towards our long-term vision for CCP and Eve," said CCP boss Hilmar Veigar Pétursson.

"But this is just the beginning. As we have done with Eve Online, in the coming weeks, and for years to come, we will continually improve upon and add to the Dust 514 experience, as well as add deeper integration between the two games and their communities."

CCP has also confirmed those playing in the closed beta won't have their stats reset. Will any of you guys be getting involved in the action? Let us know.
