Retro City Rampage Europe release date confirmed, PS3 & PS Vita cross-buy at launch

Wednesday, 9th January 2013 11:50 GMT By Dave Cook

Retro City Rampage developer Brian Provinciano has announced at long last the European release date for his 8-bit ode to retro games of years gone by.

Provinciano has announced that the game will hit the European PS Store Wednesday, January 16th for PS3 and PS Vita, and that if you buy it on either format, you automatically get the other free of charge.

The game is already out in all territories on PC and Xbox 360, and is currently in certification at Nintendo for a WiiWare release.

Thanks Eurogamer.

I’ve got it free from US Plus and sorry to say but this isn’t worth your time, only if you got a lot to spare. The “retro gaming” thing has a limit for me, and this game is it. It hurts my eyes when I play it, and I’m not overreacting, it really hurts

EDIT: thinking of it, maybe in vita it’s better because of the size of the screen, but for PS3 it’s bad
