Retro City Rampage developer Brian Provinciano has announced at long last the European release date for his 8-bit ode to retro games of years gone by.

Provinciano has announced that the game will hit the European PS Store Wednesday, January 16th for PS3 and PS Vita, and that if you buy it on either format, you automatically get the other free of charge.

The game is already out in all territories on PC and Xbox 360, and is currently in certification at Nintendo for a WiiWare release.
