Owlboy: PC version releasing in 2013, console port being considered

Owlboy is a rather neat-looking 2D pixel art platformer form D-Pad studios. It gained some notoriety in the indie scene when its debut gameplay trailer launched in 2011 but the game was subsequently delayed. However, D-Pad Studios' author Jo-Remi Madsen has revealed that the studio is now aiming at a 2013 release. If you like old-school titles or games like Braid and its indie brethren, then this is a game you should check out.

First, here's the trailer in case you missed it:

Speaking with Gameplay.pl, Madsen said, in a translated interview that the studio wants to finish Owlboy for PC in 2013 - hopefully before Spring - and is currently in talks with Valve regarding a Steam release, although the talks with Valve are yet to be confirmed. Elsewhere, the team is keen to work on a console port but didn't say which formats the team had its eye on.
