Minecraft has been updated to version 1.4.7, which fixes crashes when joining servers. Other fixes include: crashing when arrows are fired from dispensers; a multiplayer crash when using fireworks without a fireworks star; a longer than average timeout when checking SRV records; formatting issues with bold text have been addressed. The fixes were pre-released two weeks ago, but are now official. Thanks, PCgamesN.
