PlanetSide 2 "hex crash" users being banned

While SOE was on vacation, some folks decided it would be fun to take advantage of a PlanetSide 2 exploit which caused players entering a certain radius to become disconnected. We've no idea what this entails, but PCgamesN explains it much better than we could: "Offenders were placing C4 on Sunderer APCs equipped with a particular mod and detonating them - a specific combination which caused every player in the immediate area to crash to desktop." SOE has released a fix for hex crash issue, and using the log evidence, will be banning players which used the exploit. Evidence of said foul play can be found in the video below.
