Ex-Irrational & Harmonix devs begin Dreadline Kickstarter

Dreadline is the first title from the ex-Irrational Games and Harmonix developers that make up new outfit Eerie Canal. It's a colourful game that sees a band of monsters killing humans who are about to be killed by other means, such as slaughtering the captain of the Titanic before the ship hits the iceberg. It's zany, and you can back it on Kickstarter now.

The game - announced back in May - is a blend of real-time strategy and action RPG staples and at the time of writing the Kickstarter campaign page has raised $5,759 of Eerie Canal's proposed $167,000 goal, with 90 backers on-side. There are 27 days of funding left and if successful it will launch for PC during August 2013.

There is also a funding campaign video featuring some gameplay, art and insight from the devs, should you wish to check it out.
