Elite: Dangerous Mac version planned as Kickstarter winds down

Elite: Dangerous has met another stretch goal, which will see a Mac release of the Frontier Developments title three months after the PC version is released.

Currently, 24,598 backers have pledged £1,480,080 and Paypal sits at £25,000 with £42,000 more needed in order for the game to have an extra 10 ships.

The project surpassed its Kickstarter goal with 51 hours to spare, and there is still another 8 hours left on the clock. You can donate here.

Below you will also find a new developer diary featuring David Braben discussing ship shields.
