007 Legends & other Bond titles pulled from Steam store

007 Legends, 007 Blood Stone and Quantum of Solace have been mysteriously pulled from Steam and publisher’s Activision’s own online store.

Steam users first noted the Bond franchise’s absence yesterday, prompting chatter on the Steam forums around why the games had been pulled.

Sure enough, a search on Steam for 007 Legends comes back empty-handed:

The same goes for Activision’s online store, which bears no trace of Bond at all.

It could be that Activision’s Bond license has expired or that there has been some kind of fallout over the Eurocom closure following abysmal reviews of 007 Legends. Either way we’ve asked Activision for comment.

Thanks NeoGamr.

@2 I agree with that yeah, Blood Stone was fun. Functional, inoffensive (Save for the driving stage on the ice) and a decent bit of gunplay.

I hope this is a sign that Activi is gonna let the Bond franchise go because they have abused this license in the worst possible way. 007 deserves his own Arkham Asylum quality game and not another stupid Golden Eye remake.

Licensing issue, I would wager.
