Radio the Universe surpasses Kickstarter goal with 20 days left

Radio the Universe, a top-down action title inspired by Yume Nikki, Symphony of the Night, Dark Souls, and others, has reached its Kickstarter goal with 20 days left on the timer.

The developer, 6e6e6e, posted the project to the crowd-sourcing site on December 21 with an initial goal of $12,000. At present, the amount pledged has reached $34,969, prompting the developer to add new stretch goals.

PC is the main system the title will be released for, with Mac a "fairer possibility."

"With Radio the Universe, I want to create something beautiful, melancholy, and evocative," wrote the developer on the page. "A game that, of course, is fun to play, but also imparts a special, maybe surreal, experience to the player. I want to make a game with personality. A game that can feel a bit 'off.'

"I'm hopeful that there are enough people out there who want to see 'off' happen."

You can have a look at the Kickstarter video below, and if you feel the need to toss money at the screen after watching it, be sure to head through here first.

Thanks, D'toid.
