The news stops when we say it stops: right now

And that was 2012. We’re stopping rolling news updates from now until January 2, 2013.

We’re going to be running a series of news features going over the major stories in each month of this year starting Monday, but the news team is now standing down until the New Year.

I’d like to sincerely thank VG247′s staff and readers for an amazing year. Our traffic peaked at 1.3 million unique users in November, and I believe we’ll see further gains in 2013.

From everyone here at VG247, we hope you have a great holiday and a good rest!
