StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm beta opened to pre-order customers

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm beta play started as a closed affair, but now pre-purchase customers are being invited into the fold. Find out if you're eligible after the cut.
PCGamesN reports that anyone who has pre-purchased the expansion before December 18th is now eligible for beta play. Anyone who pre-purchases the game from now on will be considered for beta play, but will be added in waves starting next year.
The beta client is available online now, ahead of the expansion's March 12th release.
