Space Harrier 3D was outed for Nintendo 3DS last month, along with a series of game screens. The whole thing was reported as a rumour, but now Nintendo has confirmed that Sega’s shooter is hitting the Japanese 3DS eShop next week.
The game will launch on December 26th in Japan, and is based on the original arcade build of Space Harrier – rather than the Master System build.
Sega is also adding in some new features, such as a time trial mode, mid-game saves, visual options and even a mode that operates using tilt.
No Western release has been confirmed, but we’ll update if that changes.
