PlayStation Holiday Essentials offers savings over three weeks

Sony is throwing a huge holiday sale on the US PlayStation Store, with three weeks of savings on the best the PSN has to offer.

The sale will span three weeks, with three different batches of offers available for a week at a time.

The first set begins today, with the following two updates scheduled for December 24 and December 31.

We don't know what will be on sale during the latter two weeks - visit the PlayStation Blog on the appropriate dates to find out - but here's what you can snaffle on the cheap this week
