Blacklight studio working on Unreal Engine 4 title, launching Q2 2013

Blacklight: Retribution developer Zombie Studos has announced it is working on an Unreal Engine 4 title for launch on PC at some point in Q2 2013. Get the details below.

Eurogamer reports that the game is a psychological thriller, and Zombie Studios chief Jared Gerritzen has added that Unreal Engine 4 “will be a fundamental benefit to our studio as we move into the next generation of games and take our studio to the next level”.

2013 will see the first wave of Unreal Engine 4-powered titles launch on PC. It’ll be interesting to see how they stack up beside games devised on its predecessor. We’ll have more on the title as it comes.

“Eurogamer reports that the game is a psychological thriller” — sounds interesting, really glad it is not a FPS.

On the other hand not sure about how I feel since it is on PC only, I am not a PC gamer, so I’ll wait for the console version.

@2 considering it’s Unreal 4 not Unreal 3 I doubt it’ll release on any of the current consoles.
