Assassin's Creed 3 Holiday Patch out today - bug fixes galore

A massive patch for Assassin's Creed 3 is rolling onto PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 with this week's console network updates. The substantial update corrects a hefty list of bugs including a number of mission-breaking errors, one of the franchise's less delightful hallmarks. There are fixes for multiplayer, too, such as ensuring "players are no longer stuck after they got hit by knives while climbing cranes", which I thought was a pretty great feature. Pity. If you enjoy reading patch notes as much as I hate formatting them, head on over to the Ubisoft forums to be fully informed with the full change log, which may include spoilers.

Thanks, Polygon.
