God of War: Ascension beta begins, gameplay footage surfaces

God of War: Ascension has entered its beta phase from today. The 1,444MB download gives registered players access to the game’s mulitplayer ahead of its March 13th European release. Sony has posted a video clip of gameplay that involves lots of blood and a ruddy big hammer. Check it out below.
