Austin Wintory to score game about scoring

Grammy nominated, VGA winning composer Austin Wintory has announced he will provide the score for the Kickstarter funded Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of Lounge Lizards Reloaded game.

Talking to Polygon, Austin said that he was surprised he landed the gig scoring the game, that is somewhat of a fantasy job. "That's my era as a gamer growing up," Wintory said. "This was like a fantasy to work on a game like that."

"The team that's remaking it, Replay Games, they had been fans of Journey. It's actually shocking that they would think to call me because they couldn't be more opposite of each other." Wintory also commented.

Al Lowe and Replay Games made sure to check that Wintory was comfortable writing "seedy, back alley kind of stuff" before they approached him to score the game.

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards Reloaded was successfully funded in April and is up for approval at Steam Greenlight, expected to be out early 2013 on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.
