Assassin’s Creed could move to Brazil
Bertrand Chaverot, managing director for Ubisoft Brazil, has said in an interview with Techtudo that the next installment of Assassin’s Creed may be located in Brazil.
Gamespot has confirmed the translation of the interview from Portuguese, courtesy of GameInformer.
With the latest full installment of the franchise only recently released it’s unlikely we’ll hear confirmation of this or any further news anytime soon. Assassin’s Creed III involves missions set in Brazil and a game set there may be a spin off or somehow linked to this section.

I swear there just thinking about monuments to synchronise with now…
Jumping of Christ the Redeemer into a hay cart…
Then Eiffel Tower etc…
They might as well just do AC World Tour and be done with it.
Was my favourite series, very quickly ruined for me. I’m not even going to bother with 3…

You will pass great game. AC3 is really good game. For me it is right behind AC2.
And Brasil doesn’t have background history good enough for AC story. Ancient Civilizations are too primitive for AC story and whole Assassin’s vs. Templar’s story doesn’t fit in that period. Maybe some small part will be in modern day Brasil (running through favela, view from Jesus etc.).

I think the Brazil part would only be set in modern times.
It could also be either set entirely in the present day or explore the origins of the conflict between Those who came before and the first Humans before the Catastrophe and the possible links with the Mayans and their 21/12/2012 prophecy/conspiracy.

@2 Dude, i’m sorry, but i’ll ask you to study a bit more. Brasil is not only Favela and Jesus and Rio de Janeiro, it is much more complex and deeper. Brasil history begin in 1500 a.c. and you think 512 years isn’t long enough to fit AC caracters and history?! Sorry but you are wrong man.

I’d rather they just streamlined the game a bit more.
At the moment all the gameplay elements are starting to feel ‘washed out’,
Combat, free running, hunting, stealth etc…
Needs a lot of the trimming away, less crappy side quests and finding feathers or stupid shit that has no meaning.
