Halo 4 is on sale for $39.99 on Amazon today, conveniently timed for tomorrow's release of the Crimson Map Pack, and the Halo 4: Infinity Challenge kicking off next week. The purchase comes with $10 Amazon Instant Video credit as well.

The news comes courtesy of Joystiq and also sees Hitman: Absolution on sale for $29.99 ($39.99 for professional) on PC and $39.99 ($59.99 for professional) on PS3 and Xbox 360.
