The Square Enix remake of Dragon Quest VII for 3DS will see visible encounters used over the original title’s random battles system.
The choice to steer away from the traditional system will make it easier for players to avoid monsters where they feel they are not up to the level or target specific monsters to gain certain skills.
Sliconera goes into some of the new monsters saying each monster will have their own attacks and charactersistics and that battle scene backgrounds have been revamped to go with the revised fighting animation.
