Intent Media acquired by North American publishing group NewBay Media

Intent Media, which publishes MCV and Develop, has been acquired by North American publishing group NewBay Media.

The group has purchased of all of Intent’s print and online publications, and both parties involved see it as an opportunity to expand its audiences.

“Intent has constantly expanded, becoming one of Europe’s biggest specialists in business media for entertainment markets,” said Intent Media founder Stuart Dinsey. “Our entrepreneurial spirits and on-going ambitions fit perfectly with NewBay.

“Together, we look forward to exploring further growth opportunities.”
