Guitar Hero co-creator raises $6 million in Series A funding for Atlus controller

Green Throttle Gaming has raised $6 million in Series A funding, which will go towards the development and launch of its Android controller next year. The investment funds will also be used "to develop internal games, support external development, and advance software services as Green Throttle re-imagines mobile gaming on big-screen TVs," read the statement. Green Throttle's CEO is Charles Huang, who co-founded Guitar Hero developer Red Octane. In addition to the Atlus controller, which allows you to play Android phone or tablet games on the big screen, the firm is also working on an app to accompany said controller. Thanks, GI International.
