Ninja Gaiden headed to US 3DS eShop this week

NES classic Ninja Gaiden will finally arrive on the US 3DS eShop this week.

According to NintendoWorldReport, the $4.99 title arrives on the 3DS's virtual console service on December 6. The 1989 release was outed by a post on the eShop itself; no announcement has been made.

The hard-as-nails platformer seems to have hit Europe in November and was also expected stateside at that time. No explanation was given for the delay.

Ninja Gaiden really is hard; don't let recent entires like Ninja Gaiden 3 convince you that you're ready for anything.

Thanks, CVG.
