Crysis 3 has a legacy to live up to in terms of showing off your gaming rig’s grunt; check out Crytek’s three-tiered system requirements through the break.

Of course they will. The all-type recs given here are simply another marketing trick to make people upgrade their metal boxes.

I think any graphics card just has to *support* DX11, which is basically most DirectX 10 cards, because 11 is a superset of 10.

DX11? Sheesh. That’s why they say the GTS 450 and not the GTS 250. Fundamentally the same card, but the 450 supports DX11.

Oh well. This isn’t even one of my anticipated games. I guess it just serves as a reminder that I will be needing to upgrade my rig next year, you know, to prepare for what’s coming.

I have a GTS 250 and can’t upgrade for the time being (and even if I could upgrade, I need to get a new CPU-Mobo-Ram set first), does this mean I won’t be able to play the game?

@4, GTS 450 Direct X11 support is very weak in games.
Ultimately if you want to play with Direct X11 videocard must be better then what you have now.
