Dead Space 3 screenshots awash with space suits, Necromorphs, zero gravity

New Dead Space 3 screenshots have been posted on the game’s website, and we’ve made you a lovely gallery filled with the shots below. They are mostly of men in spacesuits, but there are a couple with Necromorphs as well as Issac dallying around with zero gravity. There may be a couple shots in there you’e seen before, and if so, consider it a refresher. Dead Space is out on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in February.

The co-op partner looks so out of place in every shot, I have no idea what they were thinking when they designed him. Take a look back at the other humans you see through all the other games including Extraction. Even the “marine” style commandos and what not look like normal human beings instead of gristly scarred space marines. Damn shame.

Also cover up love your in space.

they changed it to action so i’m expecting action pack stuff.

RE6 is bloody well sick! 10/10

Dead Space has always been action-centric. Go replay the games because your rose tinted glasses are distorting your vision.

Disagree. He works with the setting much like the marines in James Cameron’s Aliens.

I just hope the last boss is epic as the one in DS 1. DS 2 last boss was a fucking joke.

Oh yeah sure, he does work with the ice world setting pretty well, its just that no one else does. Or has done in the series thus far.

Thats the point of game. I am not getting your point. Who said that Dead Space had to only be on a ship or variation thereof? The game is built off The Thing and Aliens its only fitting they go to an ice planet.

Who said thats what I meant?

He looks like a character from another series thats somehow fallen into the Dead Space World. Its ill fitting. Its like finding a scarred grumpy Colonial Marine in The Thing and not getting a bit of dissonance.

Its not all that surprising that you don’t get my point though.

There was exactly that in the Thing with the remake. You just think that Dead Space is a non-action survival horror game. Go play the series again it was never that. The game was action horror. You solved your problems with a gun. Evidence of that? An in-game store to upgrade your weapons and buy ammo.
