Tomb Raider: all 6 classic games on Steam now

Tomb Raider is gearing up for an almighty reboot in 2013, but if you want to relive the glory days of ludicrous body proportions, battling a T-Rex in the jungle and locking butlers in fridges then you can play all six original games on Steam now. Get the details below.

Square-Enix published a blog post this morning to announce that all six Tomb Raider games had launched on Steam.

They are, Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider 2, Tomb Raider 3, Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness (which I seriously can’t find on the UK game store). Each game costs $9.99/€9.99/£6.99.

What do you make of the pricing? Let us know below.

£7 a pop…Whoever thought that was realistic. :o You’re better off getting retail copies, patching em up, and adding the links to the Steam client. You’re bound to be able to get most, if not ALL the featured titles for £7 or thereabouts total, that way. So, yeah…I think the pricing is ridiculous xD

No thanks! I’ll stick with gog.com.

Pretty expensive. Although I could see these being tied into a pre-order bonus for the new Tomb Raider like Hitman had.

These versions don’t even include the budget edition expansion packs, do they? Unfinished Business, Golden Mask, The Lost Artefact? The price doesn’t surprise me so much – Square Enix seem to price to discount, as if they’re selling super market wine – but having remembered to put the budget bonus content in Thief Gold you’d have though they’d have remembered this too.
