PS3 moves 525K units, PS Vita 160K over Black Friday week 

Sony has said over Black Friday week in the US, PS3 moved 525,000 units and PS Vita moved 160,000 units.

Bundle sales increased 15% year-over-year, and total sales of PS3, games, and accessories were up 9% year-over-year, with subscriptions for PS Plus up a whopping 259% year-over-year.

"We're very pleased with the Black Friday sales results, especially the incredible reception for the PS3 and PS Vita bundles," said Sony US boss Jack Tretton. "The demand was very strong which quickly depleted our inventory across retailers nationwide.

"The PlayStation brand generated significant revenue and year-over-year growth at retail because of our focus on what gamers love most in combining amazing hardware with great games and digital entertainment."

The best selling set for Vita was the Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation Bundle which Amazon sold out of in "less than five hours," while the Black Ops: Declassified and Lego Batman 2 bundles sold out at retailers as well.

Comparatively, Nintendo moved 400,000 Wii U units, Wii moved 300,000, DS 275,000 units and 3DS moved 250,000 units

Microsoft reported Xbox 360 moved 750,000 units and XBL subs jumped 50% year-over-year.
