Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade mobile game coming to US and Canada soon

Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade Mobile Game will be released in the US and Canada soon, according to an announcement from DeNA and Square Enix.

In it, players ride around in an airship and forms airborne brigades groups to cooperatively fight bosses.

Each player gains experience, and levels up when fighting off foes and abilities can be obtained through said fights, and are modeled after items culled from the Final Fantasy series.

"We're very proud to offer Final Fantasy fans based in the US and Canada our own take on the themes and ideals of the series with the upcoming launch of the mobile game Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade,” said Kenji Kobayashi, executive games director at DeNA.

“In celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary this year, we strived to create a unique gameplay experience where players can elevate each other through fun, cooperative play."

Players can pre-register for the game and be alerted via email as soon as the game becomes available through here.

Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade will be available soon as a free download on Android and iOS devices. The free-to-play mobile title currently has over 3 million users in Japan.
