Nintendo offering free game to 3DS XL buyers
Nintendo has revealed a tasty little incentive for European & Russian shoppers this holiday season. Anyone buying a 3DS XL console can register it with Club Nintendo from now until January 15th to receive a full game on the house. Check out the titles on offer below.

MCV reports that 3DS XL owners registering with Club Nintendo will receive a free game download code that can be redeemed on Nintendo’s eShop.
The games on offer include:
- Super Mario 3D Land
- Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
- New Art Academy: Learn New Painting Techniques and Share Your Art
- Nintendo presents: New Style Boutique
- Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!
Code-holders must redeem their key between January 1st-31st. You will also be eligible for the offer if you bought a 3DS XL console as far back as July 2012, so get digging out your old console boxes people.
The incentive is offered in UK & Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal and Russia.

I believe the cut-off date is January 15th, Dave. At least, that’s what it says here on the official site:

*edit* Whoops, never mind. That’s already what it says in the article. I should learn how to read.
