Black Ops 2 leaderboards back online following reset fix

Treyarch has confirmed that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 leaderboards are back online, following a stat reset fix, and that all lost stats will be updated from today. Get the confirmation below.

Update:

Treyarch has stated via Twitter that the Black Ops 2 leaderboards are now back online, and should be tracking stats without issue:

Original story:

"Since this morning's backend update, we've been made aware of leaderboard issues that some are having — we're looking into it, stand by," the developer said on Twitter, later adding:

"Currently working through server side issues re leaderboards. They'll be re-enabled as soon as we've fixed the issue. Stand by."

It's not clear if affected players will have their progress restored when the fix comes online.

The issue was flagged by players earlier today, most notably in a very unhappy thread on the game's forum. Users reported having their play time, prestige rank, KDR and other stats reset or severely cut.
