Xbox 360 system update rolling out today
Microsoft is releasing a new, mandatory Xbox 360 system update today that fixes some issues found with Xbox Music and SmartGlass. Get the details below.

Major Nelson posted a blog regarding the update, and spooled off a small list of changes, “I wanted to let you know that the team has just released a system update for the Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE.
“Starting today when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. If you are signed into LIVE already, you may be signed out and asked to accept the update and you’ll be back online in a few moments.
“In this update, we are correcting some issues such as displaying the incorrect playlist name when launching a playlist from Xbox SmartGlass to the console, an error with Xbox Video closed-captioning and an error with Xbox Music that some were experiencing.”
Simple stuff really. Are you using Xbox Music or SmartGlass? Are they worth checking out? Let us know below.

Stupid thing just kicked me off XBL right in the middle of a CoD match!
Why can’t it at least give you some warning instead of just insta-signing you out, no matter what you’re doing…?

For some reason I cant get Smartglass to work on no iDevices on my X360. Have it all set up correct… Tested at a friend and it workt straight away..
Could it be restrictions on my modem not allowing the traffic?

Using SMartGlass through iOS and enjoying the added flexibility it gives me in the home.

Smartglass is a step in the right direction.
the controller still needs more work, more usability adding to it.
