Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney's puzzle gameplay showcased

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney may be a slash fic fan's dream come true, but it's also an actual thing you may one day be able to play and presumably would like to know something about, unless you have no taste. This amazing hybrid has two sides to gameplay; through the break you can see the Layton-inspired side in action.

This video has the player navigating the environment, chatting to characters, and solving puzzles. The other half of the game is set in a courtroom, Ace Attorney-style.

Professor Layton vs.Ace Attorney hits japan on November 29. It has not been confirmed for western release but the Layton games sell gangbusters and Capcom is planning on the next entry in the Ace Attorney series, so cross your fingers. And your toes. Cross everything.
