Shining Ark: Sega’s latest ‘Shining’ game gets intro trailer

Thursday, 22nd November 2012 10:08 GMT By Dave Cook

Shining Ark is the next game in Sega’s ‘Shining’ series, following the likes of Mega Drive classic Shining Force. It’s heading to PSP in Japan from 23rd February 2013, and the game has received a colourful anime trailer that focuses on a one-winged angel. Watch the game’s opening sequence below, and mind the J-pop.

Thanks AGB.

I know the PSP still sells great in Japan and all, but why isn’t Sony pushing this for the Vita? Kinda hard to sell the Vita when they’re still pumping out PSP games like this.

@1 I’m hoping for a Vita port/upgrade for Europe. I’d definitely give it a try, although it’s all gone a bit too anime in that intro.

Of topic, but is anyone working to allow ability to send PM other forum members? I would really love to have that function.
    On topic, J-pop rocks!!!

@3 I’m sure we will be adding it in time. We’e talking about how to take the site forward at the moment, but don’t expect anything for a while. We’ll update everyone when we can :)

I assume this is like every shining game since shining force 3… nothing like shining force at all? Seems to have been like 20 games since then and they refuse to ever revisit the shining force format… can’t find any videos for gameplay for this either… are there any?

Stick it on WiiU and I will buy it.

After spending some time on the system the last few days, I am going to be saying that alot.
