Grand Theft Auto 5 pre-orders for £30 at Tesco

SavyGamer has spotted a discount code allowing you to pre-order Grand Theft Auto 5 at Tesco for just £30 including delivery, well below the £45 standard for high-profile new releases. The UK retail market regularly enters a bloody brawl over major launches as specialist and independent stores struggle to match the deep discounts of large chains. GTA5′s release date isn’t till northern spring 2013, but the battle has apparently begun.

Update: According to GetUpKidAK, a price change means you’ll need to purchase a second item to get the discount.

It’s already invalid. Tesco changed the price by a penny so the voucher code wasn’t valid.

You can add something else to the basket to claim the £10 discount, but it’s not possible with GTA on it’s own.
