Am I the only one that thinks the Wii U GamePad takes away from the immersion?
also anyone remember Zelda four swords adventures for gamecube with the gba being used as a controller, it seems as if they’re just doing the same thing with new tech <.<

It could do yes, but used in some circumstances, and ZombiU is a good example, it can reinforce immersion. Making the player look away from their main view to look at a map, or pick a lock, and allowing the player to quickly glance back when they want is potentially more natural, more immersive isn’t it?

hmm those are some good points you bring up, I just hope they don’t go over the top with it but it’s early days yet I guess.

I love the gamepad experience, it is as advertised and more. Not everyone will. But, as I like to point out, I don’t want Nintendo to be just another ps3 or xb360 experience. I own those systems already, why would I want a third one?
And for what it is worth…I am posting this from the very gamepad for WiiU right now. I plan to play some games on it when I get done. My wife is watching the thanksgiving special on the foodnetwork right now. I love that I can use the WiiU the way I can.
