US PS Store Update, November 20 – P4 Golden, Walking Dead 5, more

Wednesday, 21st November 2012 01:01 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Another bumper crop harvested from this week’s US PlayStation Store update, with a ton of new games and DLC for PlayStation 3 and Vita.

It’s a very strong week for full PlayStation 3 games, led by PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Disney’s Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, F1 Race Stars and Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse round out the new releases, but Tom Clancy’s EndWar, Kingdoms of Amalur: reckoning and DOOM Classic Collection are all also newly available.

In PSN games, there’s a new action game called Clan of Champions as well as Sine Mora. For Vita, Persona 4 Golden is probably top of most lists but PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is also on Vita too, as is Sine Mora, and Jet Set Radio HD finally arrives on the portable. Finally, there’s something called Elminage Original, which is also available for PSP.

On the Minis front, Half-brick’s marvellous jetPack Joyride is out, as is Break Quest Bundle.

Sony’s got a new initiative this week with PS3 Ultimate Deals, which offer savings of up to 60% off the cover price of “Ultimate Editions” with all DLC and extras, with a further 20% discount for PS Plus members, which is pretty sweet. Games on sale this week are Alice: Madness Returns; Assassin’s Creed: Revelations; Deus Ex: Human Revolution; Mass Effect 2; Red Faction: Armageddon; Saints Row 2; and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

There are four new bundles, too. The Classic Sonic Bundle has two games for $5, while the Darksiders 2 bundle includes all DLC and soundtrack. Hell Yeah! includes Wrath of the Dead Rabbit and two DLC packs, and the Hitman Absolution Special Edition includes a number of DLC items and a discount for Sleeping Dogs.

For PlayStation Plus subscribers the big news is the extension of Instant Colleciton to the Vita, but there are exclusive trials for Kingdoms of Amalur: reckoning, F1 Race Stars and Tom Clancy’s End War.

Demos are available for DmC: Devil May Cry and Sine Mora as well as a Zen Pinball 2; the latter two are available on Vita as well.

There are a number of sales this week but let’s get right into DLC. For Vita, you’ll find add-ons for LittleBigPlanet; New Little King’s Story; Street Fighter x Tekken; and Zen Pinball 2.

For PlayStation 3, Borderlands 2 gets Mr Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage; The Walking Dead Episode 5 is out; and there’s new content for Birds of Steel; Hitman: Absolution; LittleBigPlanet; Mass Effect 3; Mugen Souls; Naughty Bear Panic in Paradise; Rock Band 3; Sleeping Dogs and Zen Pinball 2.

Full details including pricing as well as avatars, wallpapers, themes and videos on the PlayStation Blog.

Wait, did I read that correctly? 60% off plus an additional %20 off for PS Plus members?? 80% off?? Lol I’d be crazy not to buy something. I’ve been waiting for Deus Ex to pick up for cheap too…

@2 I know, I attempted to go on today around 5:30 and the first time, it didn’t load so I quit out. Went back, tried to load games, didn’t work so I backed out and tried again and it took numerous tries to get things to work. Lots of traffic probably but still. The old store was much more reliable in comparison.

@3 “…up to 60% off” Not all are actually 60% but there’s some amazing deals there and Deus Ex is definitely worth the plunge imo.
