Xbox Live users have logged over 2 billion hours in multiplayer games since 2002

Xbox Live users have logged over 2 billion hours in multiplayer games since the service launched 10 years ago, according to Microsoft. The grand total is 2,081,054,696 hours in multiplayer with 603,549,497 hours spent on entertainment apps such as BBC iPlayer, Netflix, and Sky. The hours spent on single-player games while logged into the service or just loitering were not made available. Last week, the service an all-time record when 442 million hours were spent on the service due to the release of Halo 4 and Black Ops 2. Microsoft announced last week 270 billion achievement points had been earned since the service launched, 122,265,266 friendships had been forged, and 4.5 billion achievements had been earned.
