The Last Story is XSEED’s most successful game to date, claims publisher
The Last Story has been XSEED’s most successful game to date, according to the publisher.

So much so, it’s announced a new stand-alone version of the Wii exclusive which is shipping to retailers today.
“The Last Story has been an amazing title for XSEED Games and it has become our most successful title to date,” said Ken Berry, XSEED EVP. “This is a must have title for RPG fans, and we’re looking forward to more players discovering the magic that lies in Lazulis Island.”
It will run you $29.99 and remaining stock of the premium launch units which included a bonus 44-page softcover art book and a custom outer box, will now run $39.99.

Well is not surprise, although is not as good as xenoblade, and this is not a detriment because in this generation there is not another RPG that can took xenoblade from the first spot, it is a good RPG, i would put it below lost oddisey, not by much, but above blue dragon, and all of them were great RPG.
p.s and kudos to XEED for having the guts of picking this title, if it werent for them nintendo fans would have missed a great game, you deserve good sales numbers on this title, just in case nintendo in the future is reluctant to bring other titles to the US, i know we can count on this publisher.

@1 Funny you mentioned Blue Dragon, as I was just thinking about that game over the weekend for some reason.
@3 It wasn’t that bad, really. Frustrating at times, sure, and not much replayability, but overall I gave it an 8.5. It was one of the first games I ever reviewed online! I thought it was fun, had a great score, and was very pretty.

I liked this game a lot more than I thought I would. I’d still rate it below Xenoblade Chronicles and Pandora’s Tower, though.

I look forward to playing this game, & other Wii RPGS. I currently only own Super Paper Mario, but will get to all the greats, in time.
