Nintendo UK appoints new general manager

After the surprise departure of 20 year veteran David Yarnton in June, Nintendo UK has named Simon Kemp as replacement general manager. MCV reports Kemp is a new face in the games industry, having previously served at Unilever and GlaxoSmithKline. Kemp says he's "extremely excited" to join Nintendo right as the Wii U launches, and Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata said Kemp "brings fantastic brand experience with him" as well as possessing "versatility and leadership".
