Vita firmware update makes browser usable mid-game

A Vita firmware update due this week brings the portable’s operating system to version 2.0, Sony Worldwide studios boss Shuhei Yoshida revealed via Twitter. The update’s change list has not yet been released, but Yoshida said the Internet browser app has been made usable at the same time as games, and should also be faster in general.

Thanks, Joystiq.

It’s good to know that they are improving the web browser since it is so slow

Great for those “What do I do? I’ll check Gamefaqs” moments.
Glad this has been implemented since I always saw it as something that should’ve been in place from day-1.

Also, Gravity Rush LBP DLC. S’gunna be a good week!

According to the ad on the main page, it will be usable mid-air.
