Mass Effect 3: Omega not coming to Wii U version

Mass Effect 3: Omega - BioWare's next single player expansion pack - will not be coming to the Wii U version of the game, publisher EA has confirmed. Don't be blue though, It might still get DLC of some form.

Eurogamer reports that both the Leviathan and Omega DLC packs are not coming to Wii U.

Talking specifically about Omega, a tweet from theMass Effect feed stated, "Unfortunately it will not be available for Wii U," but when asked if any DLC would be available for the game in future, the poster replied, "Never say never :)"

So then - does that mean bespoke DLC for Wii U, or something else? We're not sure, but withholding multiformat content in this manner recalls terrible waking nightmares of the original Wii's lack of third-party releases.

Mass Effect 3 launches across Europe from November 30th, and it comes with all DLC so far, apart from the Retalliation and Leviathan packs.
