Jane Jensen's Moebius to be developed by Phoenix Online

In an update issued to Kickstarter supporters, Jane Jensen announced the developer of Pinkerton Road's first published title, Moebius.

Moebius, a project chosen by Pinkerton Road backers, was designed and written by Jensen but is being developed by Phoenix Online.

Phoenix Online is best known for The Silver Lining, a non-commercial King's Quest fan sequel, but has just released its first commercial game, Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller.

Jensen shared a cinematic test showing off Moebius's 3D character models and comic-style story telling style as well as some concept art and other development assets. Phoenix Online has been on board since September. An alpha build is expected to release in January.

Pinkerton Road crowd-funds its passion projects, but also works for hire; it is currently developing an unannounced adventure game on contract with a publisher, but cannot reveal details until official PR launch. Jensen, its founder, is a respected adventure designer whose credits include Gabriel Knight and Gray Matter.
