Animal Crossing 3DS, Dynasty Warriors 7, Halo 4 debut strong at Japanese retail

Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Leaf for 3DS debuted in first place on the Media Create charts, with 603,064 units sold.  Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires for PS3 , also new this week, placed second, while Halo 4 showed for third with 39,312 units sold. The 343 shooter boosted Xbox 360 sales by 1,569 units over last week. Get the full hardware and software charts below.

This month also marks a looming milestone for 3DS as the handheld has now moved 3,807,375 units in the country year-to-date, getting closer to the 4 million sold mark everyday. Life-to-date sales for both models combined is 8,089,518.

Life-to-date sales for 3DS LL are 1,018,636 while 3DS units sales are 7,070,882.

    Holy Crap the Wii sold 2,921 people STILL need one of those?

    And the impressive part is the PS2 is still selling pretty damn well 1,187 that’s is not bad for a console that nearly roughly 12 years old.

    Woow halo 4 coming in third place with that many copies, is something really impresive, even with that low xbox 360 acceptance numbers over there, and can still doing it good nontheless, man that speaks volumes for this franchise.
