Tropico 4: Gold Edition posits Trouble in Paradise

I have noticed a compelling correlation between watching Tropico 4 trailers and my desire to bunk off work and play games all day. This Gold Edition business is not exactly helping.

The Gold Edition includes the Modern Times expansion in addition to the base Tropico 4 game, and is due on PC and Xbox 360 on November 13 (that’s today, almost everywhere). That’s about it really, except to remind you that Tropico is all kinds of awesome, as it gives you command of a Caribbean nation and the freedom to do whatever the heck you want with it, including build roads in the shape of giant genitalia. Ha ha. I’m a grown up.
