Lone Survivor headed to PlayStation 3 and Vita, followup cancelled

Lone Survivor creator Jasper Byrne has shelved his unannounced new project, New Game +, citing issues of scope. A blog posts outlines his reasons and gives an idea of the project's proposed shape. It's all a bit sad, but there's good news, too - Lone Survivor is making the jump to consoles, specifically PlayStation 3 and Vita, and is being re-coded from scratch by Curve Studios, the team behind Explodemon. Lone Survivor launched earlier this year and has players as the titular character exploring a city in the wake of a viral attack of some kind.
