Injustice: Gods Among Us may include Blue Beetle, Lobo, Animal Man

Ed Boon has dropped a few hints as to which DC characters are yet to be announced for Injustice: Gods Among Us.

On Twitter, the NetherRealm boss made mention of an upcoming character reveal when the office candy supply runs out, coincidentally showing a pile of comics nearby. The characters featured in the comics are Swamp Thing, Animal Man and Nightwing; Nightwing is already confirmed as playable, and Boon dropped similar teases for past reveals.

Speaking to the Great Lakes Advocate, Boon apparently got quite chatty, apparently "hinting" that Blue Beetle and Lobo are on the cards.

The feature mentioned that the character select screen has room for at least 24 characters.

In full, the line-up announced so far is Superman, Batman, Catwoman, The Flash, Nightwing, Cyborg, Harley Quinn, Green Lantern, Solomon Grundy, Wonder Woman, The Joker and Green Arrow.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is NetherRealm's first non-Mortal Kombat game and hits PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 in April 2013.
