Take-Two relocating 2K West QA Testing studio to Vegas, baby

Take-Two has announced it's relocating 2K West's QA Testing studio to Las Vegas in an effort to "enhance its operating efficiencies and infrastructure."

The studio will be moved from its current location in Northridge,California to downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, with the move finished by early 2013.

"2K is continually evaluating its expanding needs for future growth," said David Ismailer, 2K COO. "As part of that evaluation, 2K has been considering options for its 2K West QA Testing studio and has chosen to relocate our facility to Las Vegas, Nevada.

"This move will allow 2K to operate a significantly larger and more effective QA facility as we continue to grow our business across all divisions."

It's not too surprising Vegas was chosen, as Nevada has implemented a $10 million Catalyst Fund which provides incentives for business expansions and relocation.

Take-Two noted in the press release that it has applied for Catalyst Funds with the Regional Development Authority and the Governor's Office of Economic Development.
